The temple is founded upon a vision of an ardent Muruga bhaktar here in Ketchum.  In  the  vision  pilgrims were invoking  Muruga's Blessings for the quickening of inner will power to lance through the habitual confinements of the mind and experiencing His Jyothi or Self-Effulgent Light  issuing from His Vel and experiencing The Realization of the Self God within.   He was standing above the mountains and His Light pervaded everything.

                    Palani/Dandayuthapani is the primary Deity.  Ganesha is here as Maha Ganapathy having ten-arms holding the  varied implements to get us out of any abyss and right us on the Path of Dharma.

                Lord Shiva is here as "Nataraja, Lord of Dance, Sri Narmadeshwara Lingam is here as well as Dakshinamoorthy giving transmission to the sapta  rishis and prayer for soul.

                All nine Navagrahas are present.  Special  Sunday ceremonies are given to Surya, The Sun Deity who finds a special home here in Sun Valley, Idaho.
